I just wanted to take a minute and tell everyone Merry Christmas! We always have a big plans- we do the holidays up huge with the family.
I had such an exciting 2008 and have so many hopes that 2009 will be bigger. I wish the best for all of you as well, may each one of you have the love that I was so lucky, and blessed to be surrounded by!

Summer's Girl has been offered a contract for release in 2009. Here's a little about the story...

This is my fifth book sold...my fourth release for 2009. If you read my eariler post about my goals you know I am wanting to have 5 books published in 2009. Which means if I can sale one more I will have met that all important seld imposed deadline. Woo hoo!

Magical Meange: A witch, vampire, and a Werewolf in a hot and sexy triangle...
For the residents of Grand Falls Colorado their town is a haven, a safe place to be themselves. A mixture of the supernatural world that can be found in one place without the violence normally found.
The sheriff is a werewolf, the town mayor is a vampire, and the Fire chief a witch. All the creatures that call it home have the protection of not only the town but also all of its residents.
Madison Montgomery grew up in Grand Falls. After the death of her parents and the disappearance of her brother the town- folks were all she had left.
She has a happy life despite the tragedies of her life. She owns the local bookstore with her best friend, has a nice cabin she shares with her dogs, and the attention of the two hottest guys in town.
Tom is the sheriff in town and a wolf shifter. His kisses steal her breath away and leave her wanting more. Dante is a Master vampire. His kisses leave her dizzy with need.
Although Madison craves and wants both men she has to pick between the two. Instead of choosing one she avoids both men.
Tired of waiting for her to make up her mind Dante and Tom come up with an agreement of their own. If she won’t choose one of them she’ll have both.
The pleasure she’s given is more than she could have ever thought possible. One night will never be enough. If she thought it was hard to pick one of them as a lover, once she has them both, it is next to impossible to imagine being without them now.
When Madison gets a visit from the past Dante and Tom have to work together to keep her safe. And come to the agreement that they would rather share Madison then lose her.
They just have to talk her into permanently accepting a three-some.
I enjoyed writing this book and am very excited about finding out it has been contracted for release! This is my fourth book sold. The third to be published for 2009.

I've always been into vampires. Ever since I was a little girl the dark and undead have been in my books, movies, and yes nightmares.
My first full vampire story, which I happen to think is very good, is called Eternal. Right now I am trying to find a home for it. It was rejected from the first publisher that I sent it too, so I'm off to find another.
It just goes to show you that you can sale three books and you still get rejections. So all of you aspiring authors out there don't give up if you receive a rejection, or three, or six. If your stories good it belongs somewhere. You just have to find that place.
I worked hard this weekend and was able to finish and edit my Summer Seduction's submission. I also finished the second book of the Were Chronicles Pack Enforcer this weekend.
I'll get it edited that sent to my editor for her to look over. The next submission that I will probably turn in will be a different wolf-shifter book. Then I will try to write my submission for next years Christmas Call. Maybe I will find it easier to write if I do it in winter. I wrote my summer seductions in winter, and let me tell you, its not easy to think about hot sweaty romance when it freakin cold outside. LOL!
Well back to work. I got the Eternal rejection this morning so thought I would blog about it, get it out of my system, so I could get back to work.

Like most authors I talk to I don't write for the money. Well I don't write to be famous, although, to myself I am. LOL! I write because if I didn't the characters in my head would never shut up and leave me alone. I write because I love to tell stories, to share them, and give them a voice.
However, I must tell you that I received my first royalty check and it was really really cool!!!! I met another e-book author or have known him but never knew he wrote. He told me that the month before he only made $5.00 for his latest release. Which I could see if you didn't have very many books out or any out for awhile but I discussed this with my husband, who in turn, told me to do what makes me happy.
So I wrote...
I made more than $5.00 I'll tell you that. I actually think I did pretty good with the period only being form October 27th-30th.
It doesn't have to do with the money because I actually won't be cashing the check! Yes I know, but it's my first check for being an author, so that sucker is going to be framed on the wall right next to the first dollar my husband made when he opened the gun store.
So I got paid for doing what I love! How many people can say that???
Oh don't get me wrong. Of course my dream is to be a very popular writer that gets to do that for a living. I already have it planned although it will be many years away!!!
I'll have my husband arrange the back office to his store and set me up a writing space. I can write there while he is at work when I'm in the mood. Or write while Abby is at school alone at home. But I'll have options! For now though...I'll be going into my day job as an accounts payable manager for an elecrtical/windfarm company.
But hey! I have proof and that is cool!

I heard back today from my editor. After only 1 round of edits it has been finalized and is ready for its release for March 2, 2009!
