What kind of writer are you?

This weekend I was finishing the final edots for the third book in The Were Chronicles Series: Pack Territory.

While going through this I realised something. I have never kept an ending. I mean never!!!

They say there are two kind of writers. The fly by the seat of the pants writers and the outliners. Myself I am an outlining. I have a serial notebook for every story I do.

In that notebook I have a characters page including description. I also have a synopsis on what should happen. Then I break down scenes. I do not number the scene but write what I want to happen throughout the book. The scenes get moved around. I use them in diffrent places but I get an idea on how things will happen.

I also go chapter by chapter. Then I write the first draft. Then I put it away for a few days (weeks) before going back and doing the re-write. Then once again put it away (hopefully for only a few days) before I start the edits.

Now depanding on the story length and all that edits can be done two to four times. After that I do a final run through to make sure everything is polished before I send it in to my editor.

Well this weekend I started wondering how I have changed every single ending I have ever had. I have even changed the ending after I have sent it to my editor. Probably drives her crazy!

I have now contracted eight books. And yes all eight of those books once had a different ending. Never would have guessed it.

Were Chronicles 2 and other books

I have an update for you all. The March 2nd release of Seduced by the Neighbour seems to have gone well. I look forward to getting feedback on it.

During the first week of March not only did I get to celebrate my 2nd release but I also recieved the book covers for Pack Alpha and Magical Menage. Both I think are great, but I have to admit that Pack Alpha is my favorite so far!!!

Pack Alpha will be released on April 20, 2009 and will start the start of an eight book series called The Were Chronicles. To learn more about the Were's please join my yahoo group (There is a link at the bottom of the page.)

Also in the same week I was offered contracts on four more books!

Woo Hooooooooooooo! Happy dance with me.!!!

So anyone following this blog knows that I have now jumped past my goal have having five books published this year! Cool!

One of the books picked up was the second book in The Were Chronicles Pack Enforcer. It's tenative release date is set for September 2009.

Feb 09 Update

February 2009 Updates:


Well hello gang! Thought I would do a monthly update and let you know what is going on in the month to come:


Only a month until my second release Seduced By The Neighbour will be out! Monday March 2, 2009 the book will be released through Total-E-Bound. We have a lot happening to get ready for its release!

I am currently working on the third book of the Were Chronicles called Pack Territory. We met Cain, Emily, and Adam in the second book. Adam, now Alpha of a pack, is the main character of the third in the series. Where we go back and visit Gage and Marissa’s territory, from book 1.


I am also working on a short sexy story about a woman bidding on the man of her dreams. It is steamy from the word go and I think you will like it. It loosely ties in from the characters in Seduced by the Neighbour (March 2nd) and Summer’s Girl (July 09) and I am loving every minute of writing it!

Were Chronicles 2: Pack Enforcer

Were Chronicles 2: Pack Enforcer is my second book in the series for Total-E-Bound.

I have finished the edits and sent it in this weekend to my editor. I will let you know when the release date has been decided.

In this second book Cain (the enforcer to his father's pack) must fight his attraction to a female were shifter while trying to find out who is attacking women in different territories. Emily offers every distraction that he doesn't need.

having refused her once Emily knows she can never have Cain. So why doesn't he let her go and move on?

When this two finally come together it is explosive and everyone else had better watch out!

This is one of my favorite books that I had wriiten. I actually started this book before the first book Pack Alpha. I love the characters and the conflict that seems to haunt them. We met more of the characters including the hero of book 3: pack territory.
